Join us on our 2017 Branson Christmas as we visit the “Live Music Show Capital of the World!”. We’ll listen to Daniel O’Donnell, one of most successful entertainers in Great Britain and Ireland. Along with Daniel, we’ll listen to Mary Duff, Irelands’ top female vocalist. Also, the Texas Tenors, who bring their unique blend of Country, Gospel, Classical and Broadway to the stage. Plus the INCREDIBLE “Miracle of Christmas”. Rejoice as the true meaning of Christmas unfolds right before your eyes with special effects & live animals at the Sight and Sound Theatre and so many more incredible shows and more.
Day 1: Wednesday, Nov. 8 –Welcome Aboard! We’ll depart our pick up locations for a nice enjoyable ride to Branson, Missouri. We’ll have check into the hotel, have dinner and then depart for our first show of the weekend, Clay Cooper’s Country Express. Awarded 2015 Entertainer of the Year by the Terry Awards, Clay Cooper has proven to be one INCREDIBLE entertainer. Supported by his cast of 24 veteran performers, Clay celebrates his 31st season in Branson doing what he loves. Don’t miss this high energy show filled with singing, dancing, trick-roping, comedy, and much more!
Day 2: Thursday, Nov. 9 – Enjoy breakfast at our hotel, we will depart for our morning show, Down Home Country. It is the best show in Branson to hear traditional Country Music. With an incredible cast of singers and pickers, you literally step back in time to enjoy the classics of George Jones, Dolly Parton, Merle Haggard, Gene Watson and many more. After, we’ll enjoy lunch before proceeding to our next show, Raiding the Country Vault. It is the newest production in Branson, MO and has tapped top country music industry talent to take audiences on a journey through the greatest hits of Country Music – America’s most beloved genre. The show, from the producers of the Las Vegas sensation, “Raiding the Rock Vault”, enjoyed a successful 2016 debut season, climbing to #4 on Trip Advisor in just 12 weeks! After we’ll enjoy dinner and then either return to hotel for evening or enjoy an optional show, ‘Statler Brothers Revisited’. The “Class of ‘57” presents the Statler Brothers Revisited. This quartet and their band reproduce the smooth four-part harmony that made the Statler Brothers an American institution.
Day 3: Friday, Nov. 10 – Enjoy breakfast at hotel before we’re on our way to visit Downtown Historic Branson for some free time/shopping OR Optional Show – “Waylon, Willie & The Good Ol‘ Boys’ and their Outlaw Band; Come hear Branson’s hottest Duo “Brother South” as they cut loose on some of your favorite Rock & Roll, Rock-A-Billy, and Honky Tonk classics. Hits by many artists including Richie Valens, Roy Orbison, Eagles, Alabama, Exile, Jerry Lee, Carl Perkins, Chuck Berry, Travis Tritt, George Strait, Brooks and Dunn, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Restless Heart, Garth Brooks and many others. Start your day off right with the Good Ol’ Boys…They don’t mean you no harm! After the show, we’ll join the rest of the group Downtown Branson for lunch and free time prior to our afternoon show, “Daniel O’Donnell”. One of the area’s most popular visiting artists, fans everywhere anxiously await the announcement of “Daniel O’Donnell’s” show schedule in Branson. An extremely successful Irish singer and television artist, he began making a name for himself in 1983 after saving enough money to make and sell his own record. After this show, we’ll go have dinner (Pre-paid) at the Starlite Theatre before our next show, “The Texas Tenors”. With their Emmy Award winning PBS special now airing across the country, and Billboard chart topping albums, it’s easy to see why The Texas Tenors are America’s favorite new tenors. Since their whirlwind debut six years ago on NBC’s America’s Got Talent, The Texas Tenors have accumulated a long list of awards, accolades and excited fans. They have performed more than 1000 concerts around the world, including a 24-city tour in the United Kingdom, Shanghai, China and collaborations with some of the most prestigious symphonies, performing arts centers and arenas in the United States. People are clearly enjoying their talent as they were recently named the #10 Classical Artist in the world according to Billboard magazine.
Day 4: Saturday, Nov. 11 – After a great breakfast at our hotel, we’ll go to the Branson Imax Entertainment Complex where we’ll have enjoy some free time and shopping prior to our early lunch there. Then, we’re off to Sight & Sound Theatre where we’ll have a “Behind the Scenes Tour” . Go with us on an exclusive tour backstage and see how the drama unfolds in their Behind the Scenes Tour. Discover the technology and ingenuity that powers the dramatic complexity of each show. Visit the nerve centers that keep the lights, sound, stage – and even animals – on cue. Get a rare glimpse of the state-of-the-art scene shop as our talented craftsmen create sets for upcoming shows, learn how Sight & Sound brings Bible stories to life and step on the stage for an actor’s view at their incomparable theatre in Branson. After, our tour, we’ll take our seats and watch their show, “Miracle of Christmas”. After decades of crushing Roman rule, the Hebrew people are losing hope. When will the promised Messiah come? Into the midst of this turmoil, young Mary is told she will bear God’s son. Angels in heaven proclaim his birth; humble shepherds and regal kings pay him homage. Clearly this is no ordinary child! But who is he – really? Is he the Messiah, our Savior? Who can even believe such a thing! Witness the story that is central to the season, brought to life with high drama, awe-inspiring special effects and live animals. Rejoice with your whole family as the true meaning of Christmas unfolds right before your eyes! After the show, we’ll depart for dinner prior to our last show of the week, “Presley’s Country Jubilee Christmas”. The house lights go down, the stage lights come up, and the music begins. The smiles, applause, and laughs from the crowd increase by the minute, and nearly fifteen hundred tapping feet are keeping time to the music…these nights are the culmination of a dream that was decades in the making.
Nearly 50 years after they started, the Presleys have kept doing what they do best. After all, it’s their type of music and style of show that laid the foundation for Branson’s ongoing success and growth.
Day 5: Sunday, Nov. 12 – Enjoy our last breakfast together at the Cracker Barrel (pre-paid) before we depart for home. We’ll have one last SURPRISE stop in store. Hint, you’ll go nuts for it!! Then arrive home with many pictures, memories and new great friends! Welcome home!
