2018 Washington DC Spring Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Wednesday, April 4– Welcome Aboard! We’ll depart our pick up locations for a nice ride across the states as we set off for our nation’s capitol – Washington, DC. We will check into our en route hotel for a good night’s rest.

Day 2: Thursday, April 5 – After enjoying a continental breakfast, we will depart for the National Museum of the Great Lakes. Later in the day, we will enjoy Dinner and then check into our en route hotel.

Day 3: Friday, April 6 – Today, after enjoying a Continental breakfast at our hotel, we will continue towards Washington, DC. Upon arrival, enjoy a relaxing Dinner and check into our Washington DC area hotel for a four night stay.

Day 4: Saturday, April 7 – Enjoy a Continental Breakfast before departing for a full-day Guided Tour of Washington, D.C. Some of the awe-inspiring sights on this fantastic tour will include the US Capitol, the Whitehouse, the National Archives, Embassy Row, and Georgetown. During the day, we will see the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial, and several war memorials. This evening, we will enjoy Dinner at a  local restaurant before continuing on the Guided Memorial and Monuments tour.

Day 5: Sunday, April 8 – Let’s begin our day with a continental breakfast at the hotel. Today’s Guided Tour includes such poignant and inspirational sights as Arlington National Cemetery, including the Tomb of the Unknowns, the Kennedy Graves, as well as the Iwo Jima Memorial.  We’ll also enjoy a visit to the Smithsonian Institute.  Later, we’ll enjoy Dinner with entertainment before returning to our hotel for the evening.

Day 6: Monday, April 9 – Start our last day in our Nation’s Capital with a continental breakfast. This morning, we will head to George Washington’s Mount Vernon Estate and Gardens. Experience great American history at Mount Vernon.  Next, we’ll head to the brand new, 430,000 square foot MUSEUM OF THE BIBLE. Discover the history, narrative and impact the Bible has played in our world’s history. From the 40 foot tall bronze doors at the museum’s entrance, to the roof-top garden, explore over six floors of exhibits that span the time, space and cultures of the Bible.  With over 40,000 items, the Museum of the Bible’s collection contains some of the oldest and most important biblical artifacts and documents in human history. This evening, enjoy a relaxing Dinner and then return to our hotel.

Day 7: Tuesday, April 10 – Enjoy a continental breakfast before leaving for the Baltimore Inner Harbor, an historic seaport transformed into a world-class center of shopping, dining, museums, and more. Relax and enjoy the beautiful waterfront setting, or delve into one of the Inner Harbor’s many attractions. Later that day, after a relaxing Dinner, we’ll check into our en route hotel.

Day 8: Wednesday, April 11 – Today, after a continental breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for the Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Museum in Fremont, OH.  Tonight, we will travel too and then relax in our en route hotel.

Day 9: Thursday, April 12– Enjoy our last breakfast together before we arrive home with many pictures, memories and new great friends! Welcome home!
