  • Enjoy a Scenic tour of Avalon on Catalina island. We will journey along the beachfront, up the hillsides, and through the heart of this friendly and historic town.
  • Guided Tour of San Diego with the Gaslamp Quarter, The Embarcadero (The Waterfront), Mission Beach, Pacific Beach, La Jolla and La Jolla Cove to see the sea lions, pelicans and cormorants.
  • Drive through Old Town San Diedo, Balboa Park and then Coronado. Drive over the Coronado Bay Bridge, stop at Coronado Ferry Landing and enjoy the best views of the San Diego Skyline.
  • Enjoy drive on the Strand (narrow strip between bay and the ocean to Imperial Beach.
  • Visit the border town of San Ysidro – glimpse the border wall and Tijuana (fourth largest city in Mexico). Will not go over border – no need for passport.

Day 1: Friday, June 21 – Welcome Aboard! We’ll depart our pick up locations for a nice ride across the states to our first en route hotel for the evening in Nebraska. Lunch and Dinner en route.

Day 2: Saturday, June 22 – Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before departing for Georgetown, CO. Enjoy a nice drive before stopping to tour the Hotel De Paris. Originally opened in 1875 by French immigrant Louis Dupuy, the hotel became famous for its luxury and the high-class French cuisine offered to visitors, at the height of the Colorado Silver Boom in Georgetown and the Mountain West. The museum is a popular tourist attraction, known for its well-preserved interiors containing over 5,000 items from the Victoria era, 90% of which are original to the Dupuy era. We will have lunch and dinner en route. Then we’ll check into our en route hotel, Hampton Inn & Suites. After, we’ll continue our trip to our en route hotel for the evening in Colorado. Lunch and Dinner en route.

Day 3: Sunday, June 23  – Enjoy breakfast at hotel before we’re on our way to stay overnight in the Las Vegas area. We’ll enjoy lunch en route.  Dinner (Pre-Paid) en route prior to hotel arrival. Free time to relax and enjoy the evening with FREE shuttle to strip or gambling in hotel.

Day 4: Monday, June 24 – Let’s have breakfast and then depart for San Pedro, CA. We will have lunch en route before arriving for a tour of the Pacific Battleship Center – Battleship USS Iowa. Enjoy a self-guided tour. The Battleship of Presidents. Built in 1940, the USS IOWA served our country for over 50 years. Designated the “World’s Greatest Naval Ship” due to her big guns, heavy armor, fast speed, longevity and modernization, she kept pace with technology for more than 50 years. During her more than 50 years in service, IOWA has welcomed and escorted our nation’s Commander-in-Chief on many occasions. No other battleship in our nation’s history has been host to more U.S. Presidents than the IOWA. Then we’ll depart for Dinner prior to arriving at our hotel for 3 nights.

Day 5: Tuesday, June 25 – Enjoy a Deluxe Continental breakfast at our hotel before departing for a sightseeing Tour of Los Angeles including downtown, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, and Santa Monica. First stop will be the unique and beautiful Union Station which is built in the style of adobe mission and  El Pueblo de Los Angeles (Old Town). Then, we’ll drive by L.A. Music Center with Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and Disney Concert Hall, and then from there to Hollywood to see Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, Dolby Theater and Walk of Fame. Next continue on Sunset Blvd to Beverly Hills sign and Rodeo Drive. After Rodeo drive to Santa Monica Pier and 3rd street, then back to their hotel. After having time to relax and freshen up for Dinner. After Dinner, we’ll return to the hotel for the evening.

Day 6: Wednesday, June 26 – After a nice Deluxe Continental Breakfast at our hotel, we will depart for Catalina Island for the day –  round trip transportation to Catalina aboard the catamaran. First, we’ll enjoy a guided tour of Scenic tour of Avalon on the island. We will journey along the beachfront, up the hillsides, and through the heart of this friendly and historic town. Catalina Island is a picture perfect paradise and a world apart from the hustle and bustle of the mainland just 22 miles away.  The air is refreshing, the water is clear,  the community is casual and friendly, and there’s not one traffic light on the whole island! When you’re on “Island Time”, you’re always having the time of your life. Then we’ll have free time to browse the Island with Lunch on your own. After we return to the mainland, we’ll enjoy dinner (Pre-Paid) on Long Beach prior to retuning to our hotel.

Day 7: Thursday, June 27 – After another great Deluxe Continental Breakfast, we’ll be on our way to San Diego, CA. for a delightful city tour to include the following highlights: Downtown San Diego  with Gaslamp Quarter, The Embarcadero (The Waterfront), Mission Beach (stop at the beach), Pacific Beach, La Jolla  and a stop at La Jolla Cove to see sea lions, pelicans and cormorants. We’ll drive through Old Town, the birthplace of San Diego and continue to Balboa Park, our Botanic Garden and the home of the world famous San Diego Zoo. Then it’s on to Coronado. We ll dive over the Coronado Bay Bridge and stop at Coronado Ferry Landing and enjoy one of the best views of San Diego skyline. From  Coronado it is a scenic drive south on the Strand, the narrow strip between the bay and the ocean to Imperial Beach. Finally, we’ll visit the border town of San Ysidro to get the glimpse of the infamous border wall and Tijuana the fourth largest city in Mexico. After, we’ll depart for Dinner (Pre-Paid) before returning to our hotel.

Day 8: Friday, June 28 – We will enjoy a nice Breakfast at our hotel before departing for a visit to the San Diego Zoo. Enjoy a 35-minute narrated tour on a double-decker bus covering much of the Zoo and also enjoy the Skyfari Aerial Tram. Also included is the regularly scheduled shows. PLUS a lunch voucher for lunch while we’re there. Located in Balboa Park, San Diego, California, housing over 3,700 animals of more than 650 species and subspecies. It is one of the few zoos in the world that houses and successfully breeds the giant panda. In 2013, the zoo added a new Koalafornia Adventure exhibit, providing an updated Australian animal experience. Another new exhibit, called Africa Rocks, opened in 2017. We’ll enjoy dinner en route on our way to our Las Vegas hotel.

Day 9: Saturday, June 29 – Enjoy breakfast at hotel before departing for a limited Guided Tour of Las Vegas prior to leaving town. Then we’re off to our Colorado hotel. We will enjoy Lunch and Dinner (both on own).

Day 10: Sunday, June 30 – We shall enjoy breakfast at the hotel before we depart for Golden, Colorado for a visit to Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave. Enjoyed a self-guided tour of the life & times of the infamous William F “Buffalo Bill” Cody, unparalleled views of the Rocky Mountain Front Range and the Great Plains off the Museum Observation Deck, plus the Pahaska Tepee built as the original Museum in 1921 and remains today as the Museum gift shop and café. This extensive and entertaining shopping experience has been a regional tourist destination for many decades. The Cafe offers full grill service featuring buffalo entrees, burgers, ice cream and plenty of homemade fudge. Lunch on own. After that, we’ll depart for our Nebraska hotel with dinner en route.

Day 11: Monday, July 1st – Enjoy our last breakfast together before we arrive home with many pictures, memories and new great friends! Welcome home!
