Day 1: Sunday, Sept. 29 – Welcome Aboard! We’ll depart our pick up locations for a nice ride across the states to our first en route hotel. Lunch and Dinner en route.

Day 2: Monday, Sept. 30  – Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before departing for New York. Enjoy a nice drive seeing the fall colors. We will have lunch (Pre-Paid) and visit the Made in America Store.  Then we’ll check into our en route hotel.

Day 3: Tuesday, Oct. 1  – Breakfast at hotel before we visit the Vermont Country Store. Featured on CBS This Morning as one of the top tourist attractions in Vermont. This store features the atmosphere and products of nostalgia with items hard to find. Then, visit to Morse Farm Maple Sugarworks, an 8th generation family-owned Vermont maple syrup farm and gift shop. The Foliage Season is alive in their area, and the views of the autumn splendor from the Morse’s hillside are spectacular. Enjoy the crisp air and a real maple creemee. Then visit von Trap Brewery, take a tour of the brewery and enjoy flavorful, crisp lagers. Then, enjoy Lunch (Pre-Paid) at the von Trapp Bierhall. Over the course of many visits to Austria, Johannes von Trapp, the youngest son of Maria and the Baron, gained an appreciation for the crisp, clean Austrian lager beers. When the craft beer movement in the United States gained momentum in the early 1990s, there was a noticeable lack of focus on lagers. It’s not surprising, considering that lagers are more challenging to brew, take longer to mature, and are therefore more expensive to create. For two decades Johannes dreamed of building an Austrian-style brewery at the Trapp Family Lodge, and in 2010 that dream came to fruition. After, a nice stop at Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream and Factory, one of the happiest places in Vermont for a tour and hmmmmm…tasting of ice cream.

Day 4: Wednesday, Oct. 2 – Let’s have breakfast, then depart for Quechee Gorge, Vermont’s little Grand Canyon for a picture stop. Now, we’re off for a (Pre-Paid) “Turkey Train Dinner” at luncheon aboard the Lake Winnipesauke Railroad Train. Enjoy a 2-hour train ride and luncheon around Lake Winnipesauke. Our luncheon will consist of a full hot delicious Roast Turkey Dinner with all of the trimmings! Mashed Potatoes, vegetable of the day, scrumptious dressing, divine gravy, rolls and butter, cranberry sauce, beverage and dessert of the day! Wow, can’t go wrong with that!! What a fun trip this will be! Then depart for Lincoln, NH hotel for 2 nights.

Day 5: Thursday, Oct. 3 – Enjoy breakfast at our hotel before departing for a stop at the Franconia Notch Visitor’s Center before traveling through the New Hampshire’s beautiful White Mountains and the magnificent Franconia Notch area, and view of the former site of the famed Old Man on the Mountain. After, we’ll travel to Cannon Mountain where we’ll enjoy an 80-passenger cable car bringing visitors to the 4,080-foot summit of Cannon Mountain in under 10 minutes. On a clear day, you can see the mountains of four states and Canada! At the summit, we’ll find spectacular scenic walking paths, a 360-degree observation deck, a cafe, bar and restrooms. After, we’re off to the scenic town of North Conway, NH to explore, shop and enjoy Lunch (On Own) before returning to the hotel. Dinner (Pre-Paid) this evening.

Day 6: Friday, Oct. 4 – Breakfast at hotel, then depart for Canterbury Shaker Village. The Village offers visitors a variety of entertaining, educational and engaging experiences in one of the most picturesque settings in northern New England. Admission to the Village includes access to self-guided exhibit buildings, craft demonstration shops, guided tours, family activities, herbal and vegetable gardens, unique shopping, simple dining, and breathtaking scenery. Dining at The Café at the Horse Barn. After, travel to Plymouth, MA. Guided Tour of Plymouth to include: Plymouth Rock, the Sarcophagus, Mayflower II, Jenny Grist Mill and Leydon St. (original street of the Plantation), Cole’s Hill, First Church, the Forefather’s Monument and the Brewster Park Herring run. Then check into our South Yarmouth, MA hotel for 3-nights. A beautiful Beach Resort!

Day 7: Saturday, Oct. 5 – Enjoy breakfast at hotel, then ferry to Martha’s Vineyard. A short, 1-hour sea voyage which brings us to this scenic paradise. We will enjoy the painted gingerbread cottages and tabernacle of Oak Bluffs. Then we continue our tour to Edgartown with many quaint shops and learn of its whaling history. This is the famous island where “Jaws” was filmed. Martha’s Vineyard features a little bit of everything for everyone, even the celebrities live and vacation here! After, we will return for a nice dinner (Pre-Paid) before retiring to our hotel for the evening.

Day 8: Sunday, Oct. 6 – After breakfast, depart for a Guided Tour of  Old Cape Cod and see Nauset Lighthouse, the Marconi Radio Station site, and the high cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean Seashore Park Visitor’s Center, then on to the tip of Cape Cod – Provincetown. Browse about town and visit the docks where giant tuna are brought. Then we’re in for a treat as we board the ship for a thrilling Whale Watching Cruise. The naturalist on board will explain whale behavior and migration patterns as we observe the “gentle giants” just a few feet away. Then onto our Lobster dinner (Pre-Paid), and back to hotel.

Day 9: Monday, Oct. 7 – We’ll enjoy breakfast at hotel before departing for our New York hotel. On way, we will have a Guided Tour of Boston along with lunch (on own) at Quincy Market. Then, travel to New York with Dinner (on own) en route.
