Day 1: Sunday, June 2 – Welcome Aboard! We’ll depart our pick-up locations for a nice ride across the states enjoying the beautiful scenery along the way to our first en route hotel for the evening.
Day 2: Monday, June 3 – Let’s enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then we’ll depart for the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. Situated in Denver’s City Park, the Denver Museum of Nature and Science was founded by Edwin Carter in the early 1900s, a man who dedicated his life to the scientific study of birds, mammals, and fauna. While the museum originally consisted of Carter’s personal collection, housed in a log cabin, it has since evolved into a collection of over one million objects and has been moved to a 500,000 square-foot-building, the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. After, we’ll continue our travels to our next en route hotel.
Day 3: Tuesday, June 4 – Start our morning with breakfast at the hotel before departing for our beautiful destination, the “Land of Enchantment”. Upon arrival, we will enjoy a relaxing Dinner and check into our Albuquerque area hotel for a four-night stay.
Day 4: Wednesday, June 5 – Let’s start our day with breakfast at our hotel before a visit to Acoma Pueblo, a hilltop village also known as Sky City, which has been home to Native Americans for over 900 continuous years. We will then enjoy a Guided Tour of this ancient village, where they still live simply in a lifestyle that dates back centuries. Tour their “San Esteban del Rey” mission, and browse their authentic crafts and food offerings. Then, depart for the New Mexico Veterans’ Memorial, an expansive, brand-new memorial honoring many aspects of Veterans’ experiences and sacrifices. Tonight, we will enjoy Dinner and Entertainment.
Day 5: Thursday, June 6 – Today, after a nice breakfast at our hotel, we will depart for the legendary city of Santa Fe, where artistry and beautiful Southwestern architecture surround us. We will have fun on a Guided Tour of Santa Fe. This afternoon, we will visit the vibrant Santa Fe Plaza, where artisans sell their own handmade works, amidst Santa Fe’s most historic sites. See the grandeur of the Saint Francis Cathedral. Enjoy Dinner before returning to our hotel this evening.
Day 6: Friday, June 7 – We will start the day with breakfast at our hotel, then visit the beautiful Sculpture Gardens at the Albuquerque Museum – and inside, learn a brief history of the city. Then visit Old Town Albuquerque, a historic area with old Southwestern charm, where unique shops and cafes abound. Next, we will gently soar over the mountains in the Sandia Peak Tramway. The enclosed tramway takes us 2 miles up to the stunning mountain peak, to see one of the most beautiful views in all of New Mexico. Tonight, we will enjoy a nice relaxing Dinner before returning to our hotel.
