Join us as we travel to Pella to experience the sights and sounds of the Tulip Time Festival and view more than 300,000 vibrantly blooming tulips!! Pella is beautiful and unique all year long, but at Tulip Time it comes alive with tulips, Dutch attire, food, fun, and more. Thousands of residents wear Dutch attire and celebrate their Dutch heritage. Three days each spring, Pella is bursting with color and excitement for Pella residents and visitors alike! Enjoy the performances from Dutch dancing and singing groups like the Dutchesses and the Dutch Family Singers. Meet local “celebrities” like the Tulip Queen and her Royal Court or even famous western lawman, Wyatt Earp!
Stop by the Klokkenspel, which brings the Old World to life in a musical way with the 147-bell carillon and eight mechanical figures. Performance times are every 30min during Tulip Time. Plus enjoy the food booths throughout the festival from brats to funnel cakes to more authentic Dutch items like poffertjes and Pella bologna.
Then we will depart for a stop for Dinner (on Own)…then home with a perfect time to chat with your friends about all of the things we’ve done, the great sights we’ve seen, and where we will go on our next trip!
