Day 1:
wednesday, october 5

Welcome Aboard! Water and snacks provided on coach. We’ll depart for our hotel in Indiana, Blue Gate Garden Inn for a two-night stay.  Enjoy Dinner @ Blue Gate Restaurant for a Pizza Buffet (Pre-Paid). Includes:  Meat Lover’s and Supreme pizzas, Chicken Wings (Plain) with sauce on side, Breadsticks, Green Salad, Assorted Dessert Bars and Soda and Water. This evening, we will enjoy a Dinner Theatre Buffet-style dinner prior to the Musical, Dear Soldier Boy”. It’s 1951 and the Korean War is in full swing. Anna King knows that war is contrary to the Amish way, but she still wants to help our troops by volunteering to write letters of encouragement to the soldiers, who must be lonely so far away from home. Anna doesn’t tell anyone about her mission, least of all her father. But to her surprise and dismay, three of her soldier pen pals show up on leave – on the very same weekend! And if that’s not enough, all three propose marriage! Now what’s she going to do?! Will Anna be able to keep the soldiers from finding out about each other? And her father from finding out about all of them?? And then… which one has she really fallen in love with? Dear Soldier Boy is a hilarious, feel-good musical comedy by Martha Bolton. Come join the fun! After the show, retire for the evening.

Day 2:
thursday, october 6

Enjoy a YUMMY HOT Breakfast at the hotel. Then we will meet our area guide and take a Guided Tour around the Amish Community. Learn how the Amish live, answer any questions you might like to learn about and make a stop. (-: After, we’ll have Free Time to browse the Davis Mercantile. Three floors of old-fashioned shoppes and restaurants. Or take in the family-owned stores on main street.

Then we’ll depart for our afternoon show. Enjoy the Musical SHOW – Salute to the Stars: The Way They Were. A concert like no other. “ol Blue eyes”, “Babs”, and the King of Rock and Roll… It’s tantalizing to imagine what it would have been like to have the world’s biggest singers together on one stage. Barbara Streisand, Frank Sinatra and Elvis…The Way They Were!!!! Rebecca Clark (Barbra Streisand) has starred and toured with the Bob Hope USO shows. This rare and incredibly talented performer is internationally known for her music and gift at charming audiences, and leaving her fans breathless.  Gary Anthony (Frank Sinatra) moved from Hollywood to Las Vegas in 1994 fulfilling his lifelong passion glided across Las Vegas stages and around the world performing his tribute to Frank Sinatra. Gary brings back the original sounds of that magical era that we call the Great American Songbook. As the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley, is the man known worldwide as the TRUE Voice of Elvis, Doug Church. Doug began his career in the US Air Force, brandishing a guitar and homemade costume, where he began winning talent contests held annually by the Air Force with his amazing rendition of the King of Rock n Roll. He has awed his audiences for years, leaving them totally mesmerized and shaken. They swear that when you close your eyes, Elvis is right there in the room with you. Doug’s voice has been acknowledged as being the closest to “The King’s” by not only his fans and peers but also by those who knew Elvis personally and is regarded as an Icon in the industry. Afterwards, we will visit the Menno-Hof Mennonite Museum. Travel through 25 different venues will take you into the world of the Anabaptists. The six programmed areas use a variety of multi-media presentations to take your group into the world of the Amish and Mennonites. There are hands-on exhibits and display areas where your group will learn many different facets of Anabaptist life. Experience a European courtyard, a dungeon, a 17th-century sailing ship, a print shop, a simulated tornado and an authentic meeting house; all designed to further your understandings of the history, life and faith of these people. This evening, we will enjoy a Dinner Theatre CONCERT – DANIEL O’DONNELL. (Pre-Paid). The affable and unassuming international singing star Daniel O’Donnell, one of Ireland’s best-known performers from Australia to Alaska, continues to push out the boundaries of his career both on stage and TV. Daniel’s remarkable career has moved on to a new level with his success as a TV presenter, just another facet to his ever-expanding list of entertainment achievements. Across the ocean in the USA, where Daniel has a loyal and ever-increasing following, he is winning awards too. His most recent award was in Dakota USA where he has been inducted into the Scandinavian-America Hall of Fame for the Humanitarian Award. Recent notable inductees into the Hall of Fame include Kris Kristofferson and Hollywood actor Josh Duhamel.

Day 3:
