Day 1:
Saturday, September 24

Welcome Aboard! We’ll depart our pick up locations for a nice ride across the states to our first en route hotel, for the evening in Illinois. Lunch and Dinner en route.

Day 2:
sunday, september 25

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before departing for Ohio. Enjoy a nice drive seeing the fall colors. Today, we’ll stop at the Schedel Arboretum and Gardens. Enjoy a Self-guided tour of the gardens. In addition to many unusual and exotic species of trees and upwards of 10,000 annual plants and flowers, the Schedel Arboretum & Gardens maintains several themed garden displays where one will find unique presentations of plants and hardscapes designed to enhance the experience of appreciating nature. We will have lunch and dinner en route. Then we’ll check into our en route hotel. 

Day 3:
monday, september 26

Enjoy breakfast at hotel before we’re on our way to tour the Lucille Ball/Desi Arnaz Museum. The legacy of Lucille Ball has been proudly honored right here in Lucy’s hometown of Jamestown by the Lucille Ball Desi Arnaz Museum since 1996. For decades, Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz played a vital role in television and on the big screen, and we’re fortunate to have the privilege of preserving their memory and the impact they’ve both had on the world through all of the fun costumes and memorabilia on display, awards they were both given, photographs of both their personal and TV lives, and much more! We’re constantly swapping out exhibits for new ones, so even if you’ve visited our museum before, it’s always a new experience like the first time you visited! Then we’ll stop at the Made in America Store. Free time in this unique store with 7,000 items ALL made in the USA. Journey onto our hotel in Latham, NY.  We’ll enjoy lunch and dinner en route. (Meals on own)

Day 4:
tuesday, september 27

Enjoy breakfast at hotel and then depart for our Vermont hotel. First, a visit to the Original Vermont Country Store. Opened since 1946, Vrest and Mildred Orton printed and mailed the first catalog to 1,000 people on their Christmas Card list. Vrest a frugal Yankee at heart, insisted that what they sold must be useful, work and make sense. Their family still holds true to this principal today. Enjoy free time to browse the store for items such as locally made crafts, gifts, food and antiques the store has to offer. Then we’re off to Woodstock Village, VT. Enjoy Lunch (On Own) in this exclusive and charming “quintessential New England Village”. It is a destination boasting the only national park in Vermont, three covered bridges, fabulous restaurants, charming boutiques and shops, agricultural landscapes and numerous lodging establishments. Time for any of the restaurants to eat at plus shop the little unique shops OR view the covered bridge in town.  After, travel to Middlebury, VT to hotel.  After, enjoy a Dinner Buffet (Pre-Paid) at the hotel.

Day 5:
wednesday, september 28

After breakfast at hotel, we’re off and running. First, is a visit to the University of Vermont Morgan Horse Farm. The home to the oldest, continuous Morgan Horse breeding herd in the world. Take a tour and learn about the breed history and how they are raised.  Next, we board the Spirit of Ethan Allen Cruise Lines. Enjoy a scenic boat cruise on Lake Champlain with stunning views of the Adirondack and Green Mountains as we enjoy a wonderful hold/cold buffet Lunch (Pre-Paid) and champagne toast! After, we will visit the Vermont Teddy Bear Company. We’ll want to take a tour of our factory, with one of our Bear Ambassadors who will guide us through a fun, informative tour where we’ll watch their small group of craftspeople creating their Bears by hand, one-by-one. We’ll even see their Bear Hospital, where we’ll get to meet their Bear Doctor, Dr. Nancy. If your Bear ever needs repair, Dr. Nancy will take care of everything. Then, we’ll travel to our hotel in Vermont for two nights. We will have Dinner (On Own) in way to hotel.

Day 6:
thursday, september 29

Enjoy a nice hotel breakfast at our hotel before departing for the day. We’ll start with The Hobo Railroad Fall Foliage Ride. ALL ABOARD!!! Train travels through passes and notches with grand mountain and stunning foliage views while you enjoy samples of New Hampshire made and grown products. After, enjoy Lunch at North Conway’s acclaimed LITTLETON DINER (Pre-Paid). Featured by Yankee and Food magazines. Try their famous Corned Beef Hash! Then we’ll stop and visit the Franconia Notch Visitor’s Center before traveling through the New Hampshire’s beautiful White Mountains and the magnificent Franconia Notch area, and view of the former site of the famed Old Man on the Mountain. Now, we’re going to have a treat, enjoy a Maple Experience at the Rocks Estate. We will enjoy an interactive virtual tour of the actual sap boiling process in the new sugarhouse and maple museum. Learn how this sweetest of treats was made from the times of Native Americans to present day. Also featured will be a rotating display of maple producing artifacts, from wooden buckets and spouts, to maple sugar molds and evaporators. Syrup with sour pickles, to cut the sweetness, is just one of the highlights participants will enjoy during the tour. Our maple syrup and products are available in the gift shop to purchase and take home with you. Then we’ll have Dinner (On Own) at one the nearby restaurants in the area near our hotel.

Day 7:
friday, september 30

This morning, we’ll enjoy a nice hot Breakfast at our hotel, we will depart for the Mount Washington Auto Road. There is one road in New England that stands alone above all others. The Mt. Washington Auto Road. It is more than just an 8 mile path to the summit of the Northeast’s highest peak—it’s a journey through time to a place of spectacular beauty and awe inspiring views . . . and it couldn’t be easier to get to. Mt. Washington is a special place, and we welcome your group to enjoy it with us. Get ready for a one-of-a-kind experience atop New England’s Tallest Peak at 6,228ft! Our “Stage Driver” will enlighten us from the base of the summit with anecdotes, legends, history and insight into the ecological wonders of Mount Washington! Photo ops at the summit surrounded by 750,000 acres of national forest with potential views of Vermont, New York, Massachusetts and even Quebec! Check out the Mount Washington Observatory which offers an interactive museum. **Be sure to dress warm for this portion of the trip!! Temps range between  mid 30’s – 40’s** After we’ll depart for North Conway. Enjoy Lunch (On Own) and free time for browsing their cute shops. North Conway is one of New Hampshire’s most charming Villages! Then we will follow the Kancamagus Highway known for it’s incredible Fall Foliage Photo Ops! The Kancamagus Highway is a 34.5 mile scenic drive along NH’s Rt. 112 in Northern New Hampshire that is well known as one of the best Fall Foliage viewing areas in the country. The Kancamagus Highway is now designated an American Scenic Byway for its rich history, aesthetic beauty and culture. Depart for our New York hotel with Dinner (On Own) en route.

Day 8:
saturday, october 1

After another great Breakfast,  we will depart for our Ohio hotel. We will stop for Lunch (on own) along the way then for visit to Niagara Falls (American side) for a stop. GREAT picture-taking spot plus free time! Then to Dinner (On Own) and to our hotel.

Today, after enjoying a Continental Breakfast, we will depart for home…a perfect time to chat with your friends about all of the things we’ve done, the great sights we’ve seen, and where we will go on our next trip!
