Day 1:

Monday, June 30

Welcome Aboard! We’ll depart for a nice enjoyable ride to our destination. We’ll arrive into Hannibal in time for Lunch (On Own). Enjoy lunch in Historic Downtown Hannibal at any of the many wonderful restaurants.  After Lunch, check into our hotel and drop luggage off. Then visit Jim’s Journey: The Huck Finn Freedom Center. The Freedom Center details the history of African Americans in Hannibal, linked back to the novels of Mark Twain. The museum highlights the lives and accomplishments of prominent African Americans from Hannibal. After, depart for the Mark Twain Riverboat Dinner Cruise. (Pre-Paid). All aboard the Mark Twain Riverboat for a two-hour dinner cruise, with delicious buffet, followed by live music.

Day 2:

Tuesday, July 1

Good Morning! Please enjoy a nice hot Breakfast at the hotel before we depart for another fun day! Our first stop is the Mark Twain Boyhood Home & Museum. With a Greeting by Tom Sawyer & Becky Thatcher. They will answer questions and pose for pictures! Then enjoy a Self-Guided Tour of Mark Twain’s Boyhood home, Becky Thatcher’s House, Huck Finn House, Judge Clemens’ Law Office, Grant’s Drug Store & Museum Gallery with its fifteen original Norman Rockwell paintings. After, Luncn on own in Downtown Historic Hannibal followed by seeing MARGARET: The Incredible Molly Brown. Molly Brown Birthplace & Museum Home Tour. Margaret Brown may be best known as a survivor of the Titanic, but she was so much more. Hear her incredible story as you tour her home with one of our knowledgeable guides. Learn about her family and the integral roles they played in her life, most especially that of husband J.J. Brown. Mother, wife, philanthropist, suffragist, actress–Margaret Brown’s story is so much bigger than anything you’ve seen in the movies. Then, visit Rockcliffe Mansion, one of America’s Castles! Arrive at Rockcliffe Mansion, one of America’s Castles! This turn of the century mansion overlooks the Mississippi and contains many original furnishings. The mansion is also notable for the fact that Mark Twain spoke from the grand staircase in 1907 during his last visit to Hannibal. Enjoy a docent guided tour. Then, visit Mark Twain Cave. Take a one-hour guided tour of the cave that inspired tales like The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and learn about Hannibal’s brown bat population. The cave stays a cool 52 degrees year-round so a light sweater is recommended; there’s a store decked out with tons of items so we’ve got you covered in case you forgot something! Return to Hannibal and enjoy Dinner (Pre-Paid). Then enjoy a Haunted Hannibal Ghost Driving Tour. Will take us all around one of the most haunted towns in America! Learn the secrets of many of Hannibal’s most notoriously haunted sites — both past and present. Hear stories of murder and mischief during Mark Twain’s boyhood days in Hannibal, meet the present-day ghosts of the mansions on Millionaires’ Row, and so much more! Includes an investigation of Old Baptist Cemetery where you’ll walk amongst the graves of slaves and Civil War soldiers and search for signs of paranormal activity! Then return to our hotel and relax for the evening.

Day 3:

Wednesday, July 2

Enjoy a nice Breakfast before departing for our journey to St. Louis! Arrive into St. Louis and Prepare for an unforgettable day filled with adventure and delight! Begin your journey with a charming tram tour of Grant’s Farm, where you’ll encounter majestic  animals, lush landscapes, and historic landmarks. Next, indulge in a mouthwatering meal at the iconic Brat Haus (Pre-Paid Lunch), savoring delicious bratwursts and other delectable treats in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. But the excitement doesn’t end there! Experience the magic of brewing with a reservation on the Day Fresh tour at the renowned Anheuser-Busch Brewery. Witness the art of beer-making up close, learn about the rich history of the brewery, and enjoy refreshing samples. Check into hotel, freshen up & depart for Dinner (Pre-Paid).

Day 4:

Enjoy Breakfast at the hotel. Today, we are going to enjoy a full-day tour of  LITTLE TASTE of ST. LOUIS. Embark on a thrilling journey through some of the most iconic neighborhoods in St. Louis! The tour will start with a driving overview of the vibrant Loop, where the energy is palpable  and the sights are endless. Next, you’ll explore the historic charm of Soulard, with a stop at the bustling Soulard Market, where you can soak in the local flavors and vibrant  atmosphere. Continuing on with your adventure to the picturesque Lafayette Square, known for its stunning Victorian architecture and lush parks. Indulge in a seated lunch at the beloved Favazza’s on The Hill, (Pre-Paid Lunch) where you’ll savor authentic Italian cuisine in a warm, welcoming setting. But the treats don’t stop there! Experience the legendary Ted Drewes Frozen Custard, a St. Louis staple that will leave your taste buds dancing. Throughout the tour, you’ll be treated to a variety of local delights, including the refreshing Fitz’s Root Beer, crispy and delicious Toasted Ravioli, soft and savory Gus’ Pretzels, and the irresistibly sweet Gooey Butter Cake. After, we’ll return to hotel prior to Dinner (Pre-Paid).

Day 5:

Friday, July 4

HAPPY 4TH of JULY! After a great Breakfast at the Hotel we will depart for another great day of touring. Get ready for an action-packed day in St. Louis! Start your adventure with a breathtaking tram ride up the iconic Gateway Arch, where you’ll be treated to panoramic views of the city and the mighty Mississippi River. Next, set sail on a one-hour sightseeing cruise along the Mississippi River, where you’ll learn fascinating facts about the river’s history and enjoy stunning waterfront views. As you cruise, delight in a delicious Boxed Lunch (Pre-Paid), perfect for savoring while taking in the sights. But the fun doesn’t stop there! Dive into the wonders of the ocean with a visit to the St. Louis Aquarium at Union Station, where you’ll encounter a mesmerizing array of marine life and interactive exhibits. Finally, soar to new heights with a ride on the Observation Wheel at Union Station, offering spectacular views of the cityscape and beyond. After, we will freshen up at our hotel and then depart for Dinner (Pre-Paid). I bet we see some fireworks this evening. LOL

Day 6:

Saturday, July 5

Enjoy a delicious Breakfast at the hotel. Then depart for home with many pictures, memories and new great friends! Welcome home!
