Day 2:Tuesday, October 27, 2026
Start with a deluxe hot breakfast at the hotel, fuel up for the day! Guided Tour of Bentonville – discover the city’s history and charm. Visit Walmart Museum – see Sam Walton’s original store, 1950 “Walton’s 5&10” on the town square. It features a museum, a vintage-themed gift shop, and the Spark Café. Reopened in 2025, the exhibit space includes interactive displays, a holographic Sam Walton, his original office, and his famous 1979 Ford pickup truck. Lunch (on own) & Bentonville Town Square Browsing – enjoy local eats and quaint shops. Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel, a stunning glass chapel in the woods, perfect for photos. Down a meandering path, surrounded by the flora and fauna of Bella Vista, the Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel towers 50 feet into the tree line. This profound structure consists of 15 repetitive Gothic arches made from 31 tons of steel. It is encased by field stone walls and 4,400 square feet of cut sheet glass. As the natural light enters the Chapel, it dances in leaf shaped patterns across a stone floor comprised of native limestone and flagstone, just as intended by architect E. Fay Jones. Dinner at Simple Pleasures, Bella Vista – a cozy, (pre-paid) local favorite. Stroll through beautiful gardens, enjoy the soothing sounds of waterfalls, or step back in time at our classic soda fountain. Simple Pleasures provides a delightful experience that is perfect for guests—engaging and entertaining without overwhelming or exhausting.
